Started in 1923, Reinisch is a 40ha estate, located in Thermenregion (”the end of the alps”). Tattendorf, the village where the winery is located, is down in the valley, with alluvial chalk soils under a deep layer of humus and clay. From the best sites in their vineyards, their Pinot Noir exemplifies the potential of Austrian red wine.
