Started in 1923, Reinisch is a 40ha estate, located in Thermenregion (”the end of the alps”). Tattendorf, the village where the winery is located, is down in the valley, where soils are alluvial chalk under a deep layer of humus and clay. From 35+ year old vines, this St. Laurent is aged for 16 months in small wooden barrels before release.
