Established in the early 1950s, the Luigi Pira estate encompasses 12ha of Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, and Barbera in the commune of Serralunga d’Alba. This Nebbiolo comes from 1ha of vines planted in south/southwest facing vineyard to calcareous clay in 1999. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel for 10-15 days before aging in a combination of small barrels and large cask for 12 months.
