Established in the early 1950s, the Luigi Pira estate encompasses 12ha of Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, and Barbera in the commune of Serralunga d’Alba. This Nebbiolo for this wine comes from the Marenca, Margheria, Rivette and Sorano cru vineyards in the Serralunga d’Alba commune of Barolo, planted in 1959 and 1995. Aging occurs in 25-hectoliter oak casks for 24 months before bottling.
