Mirco Mariotti’s vineyards are located in the eastern ‘Romagna’ part of Emilia-Romagna in Northern Italy, which is home to Lambrusco, real balsamic vinegar, and so many gastronomic delights. Grown on the beach 300 meters from the Adriatic Sea, where many of the vines are over 100 years old, Mariotti's vineyard looks as gnarly and raw as you would expect from any living thing residing so close to the sea and its salty winds. Sèt e Mèz is made with the rare and wild Fortana grape that gives this sparkler both fruity and savory notes.
