Unlike some of his neighbors in the Mosel, 5th generation winemaker Florian Lauer focuses on highlighting the clarity and complexity of Riesling without relying on an excess of body and residual sugar. His steeply sloped vineyards in the Saar region of the lower Mosel are carefully maintained by hand using only organic practices.
