The Grosjean family traces its roots into the high mountain passes of the Valle d'Aosta where they raised cattle and cultivated grapes. With grapes from the steep Rovettaz vineyard at 550-700 meters altitude, this wine undergoes a long, spontaneous fermentation on the lees with aging in stainless steel and some new oak.
