Created in 1972 by Aldo and Milena Vaira, G.D. Vajra started from vineyards planted by Aldo’s father in 1947. Today the family has 40ha in Barolo and surrounding appellations. Crafted from high-altitude estate vineyards with diverse exposures, the Albe 2021 vintage's dry winter, warm summer, and cool nights yielded poise and precision.
