Gamay
Morgon, Beaujolais, France

Correctly considered one of the most important Beaujolais producers in recent history, P'tit Max comes from Guy Breton's oldest (130 year old!) Morgon vines and it is his most serious wine of all. The wine is aged for ten months in used barrels from none other than Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, and then bottled unfined and unfiltered.

ripe red and black cherries, cassis, mint, clove, concentrated yet ethereal
