Mario Boschis manages this lovely estate in Dogliani (province of Cuneo) supported by his two sons Paolo and Marco. Freisa was the most widespread vine in Piedmont before it almost disappeared 150 years ago. Compared to its relative Nebbiolo, Freisa creates a wine that is richer in color and tannic structure, with pronounced fruit notes.
