Ex-BMX champion-turned-winemaker Jochen Beurer takes a holistic approach to vineyard care that expands beyond the vineyards themselves to bee-keeping and nurturing the local fauna. Beurer’s Trollinger remains one of the few Trollinger-only bottlings and comes from a serious plot: about 1.2ha of the 12ha estate are Trollinger vines that are up to and beyond 50 years old.
